For our appetizer course, we have Insalata Caprese — Tomatoes, Fresh Mozzarella and Sicilian first pressing organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil with a little bit of salt and pepper, sopped up with a hunk of ciabatta loaf. Oh did I mention these were Jersey tomatoes I got from the farmer’s market and the basil is from our garden? Mmmmmm.
The main event was bay scallops wrapped with bacon, and BBQ sauce glazed shrimp, with grilled vegetables (Zucchini, Eggplant, Radicchio, Corn, Portobellos)
