Apparently I was blissfully unaware that Extreme Makeover: Home Edition had invaded our adjoining town, Bergenfield NJ this week, and today was the big "unveiling" day of the house for the lucky familiy. Rachel and her Tenafly Weichert office was invited to participate today, and she took some pictures of the pandemonium. This will air as a two hour summer special in July.
Move that bus!
Oooooooooh. Nice house.
The lucky family. Apparently, half of them are blind, half of them are deaf, and at least one of them has cancer. I don't think you can have an Extreme Makeover house these days without having a seriously unfortunate life as a pre-requisite.
All of New Bridge Road was completely blocked off by the construction and production crew for an entire week, requiring all traffic to be detoured.
They don’t do those things stealthily, that’s for sure. They did one in southern Queens, NY, about a year and a half ago and it was the talk of the deli (Biordi’s) for a week. I definitely could’ve had daily progress reports if I was so inclined. I don’t recall their closing any major intersections, though.
I LIVE IN B-FIELD IT WAS SO MUCH FUN SEEING IT! TYSON WASN’T THERE
