As someone who has pioneered the leading edge on Internet food communities, it takes a lot to impress me when someone shows me another food web site. But when I stumbled upon Savory New York, I was quite pleased that someone had finally decided to take Wiki technology and apply it to food guides.
Savory New York is a fairly new site and they are using a relatively out-of-the-box implementation of MediaWiki , but they've got some nice content up and managed to mix it well with Google Video clips of various restaurants they've been to. I'm really looking forward to watching this site progress.
