[...] They’ve run into some interesting people on their trip, including Leah Chase and Mayor Ray Nagin, both interviewed on podcast. One of my favorites interviews he has done so far though, is with Chef CJ of Casamento’s, I loved hearing how many sacks of Oysters he goes through in a week and that sort of thing. I missed this when Jason first posted it, but went back and listened today. Hilarious interview.
For all the crap Nagin has had to put up with, its nice to see he’s got such a good attitude. And knows his restaurants so well…

Ray Nagin is a horrible bigot. He and the Governor alone are responsible for the horrors that developed in New Orleans after Katrina. There have been many, many, many national tragedies in this country and never have I heard such whining as what has come from Ray Nagin. He should be a leader among his chocolate people and advise them to pull themselves together and get a life. You don’t hear the people from Mississippi and Alabama crying and whining and they lost just as much. HELLO……get a life.
